Decorative Options

The leather you choose may determine how much or how little you need to embellish. A textured/printed or patterned finish may not need much else. You may not want to do anything fancy, but here’s a guide:

Step 1: Think about the edge detail

Step 2: Think about the stitching detail
Machine and/or hand sewing with waxed linen thread/thin leather.  Ask yourself – are you good at sewing/do you want to try?  Do you want to keep sewing to a minimum.
